About Us!

North Arrow Maps was founded in 1999 by two graduates 

of the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Geography program.

Larry Mandelin graduated in 1995 with a BA in Geography 
with a focus on cartography. Mr. Mandelin has worked as 
the head cartographer for Commercial Property Associates 
since 1996. Mr. Mandelin has an extensive design background 
in custom map design in the commercial real estate market.  

Andy Stilin graduated in 1996 with a BA in Geography 

and a certificate degree in Urban Planning.  Mr. Stilin 

worked at Etak, Inc. (now TeleAtlas) for two years creating 

digital maps for computer programs and navigation systems. 

He has also worked in the GIS, AM/FM  data conversion industry 

as a conversion technician and a technical writer performing 

training, data migration and data conversion for the GIS utility 

markets.

Together, these two individuals bring over twelve years

of custom cartographic experience to meet your mapping

needs and requirements.
